I jumped the E1 and TE1 on my 92 Sc4 and got a code 13.

I searched and found that its the RPM Signal. What the car does is it seems to hesitate on acceleration, and at idle will drop then come back quickly. What can I do to remedy the problem?

did you ever fix the problem? I have the same code but mine drives fine...its been that way sonce the timing belt, water pump replacement

That runs off of the coil I forgot which one ,but check the wires going to the coil and to the ECU. If they are cut by the belt there could be your issue. There could also be a internal short inside the coil so you might end up having to replace it. Check thing wiring first and see if you find a cut.
