Question on Full exhaust
Hey guys, was looking to get a little bit of better sound from my sc300.
most likely going to take it to a muffler shop and have them do a custom exhaust.
BUT to cut down on price i plan on buying key parts of the exhaust online and brining them in there and let them install it with the custom piping.
So i would have to get headers, 1 high flow cat (not 2 right?) and then dual mufflers.
also another question, what size piping should i have them do?

anything more then just a cat back on a stock 2jz-ge will become overly loud and with the aftermarket header it will become raspy a little bit, the over all power gain is going to be very minimal.

those axle backs and catbacks are rips offs, best way to go is custom, but if you want some a nice sound for cheap do what i did, i had the rear mufflers removed and had some nice magnaflow tips welded on as well, looks and sounds great very deep at low rpms and not droney at all on the freeway

i was thinking about doing custom exhaust too, like axle or cat-back... does anybody have any good suggestions on a muffler, for a single exit system, that you can have a muffler place put on an SC300?? or if you have custom exhaust single-exit exhaust, what size piping is best?

still havent heard the clip, but how much was did your custom setup cost? and what are your mufflers made of (stanless, titanium, etc...)??
