Default Clutch "whir" - Throwout bearing?

Hey all - quick question for you. Whenever my car is running, in neutral, with the clutch out, there's a quiet whirring coming from the trans. area. This sound completely stops when I put the clutch in. It's about time for a clutch replacement anyway - the car's got 96k on it now; I just wanna know if that's for sure (or most likely) the pilot/throwout bearing, or am I lookin at fixing another thing when I open it up? I'm fixin to leave for 6 months overseas, but when I return I'm planning on clutch/timing belt (overdue, yes)/water pump/seals/gaskets....*maaaaybe* a turbo/headgasket/headstuds. We'll see.

TIA,
~Joe

my reccomendation is to use oem lexus bearing only! because the ones that came with my competition stage 4 kit actuallly chirp at idle only when warm for some reason and make it sound like i have a noisy valvetrain while revving up with clutch pedal out, use oem bearings, you will not regret it
