There is no point in getting cams on a stock na car. The car would just run like ****. Save your money and just go na-t.
Ummm definately not true....^^^?? Of course they can, it depends on your choice of cams. Either way it will definately need a retune, and probably some other mods to really see the improvement, but you certainly don't need boost to see gains. I think what you might have been leaning towards is that you will not see near the potential out of them unless you do some serious mods to help increase the overall flow in and out of the motor. Also, 264 are lobed and made for boost, the gte guys move up to 264, you are ge and they are not the same cams. So you're choice of cam isnt the greatest, as the overlap, durarion etc is all for boost in mind. If you plan on going forced induction in the future, then you might want to rethink your choice of cam for now, or just wait till the future.
O and on a side note, DONT get Crower cams, ask LexusFTW about Crower and all the bull*hit he went through on his car, not to mention a good handful of members on SF.
Sorry man, the BC cams are for a VVt-I 2jz. If you have a 1995 SC, then you have a non VVt-I distributor type. MVP motorsports has a set of 268 cams availiable that are on about a dozen or so running cars now. It uses stock cores so it'll fit.
I have Crower regrinds (not the BC ones) and I noticed a pretty nice gain over stock. I bought an assembled head though, if I were going to do it from scratch I'd probably get Eric (c0wboy)'s TTC 268 cams.
