the ge has 174,*** and the new one(gte) has supposedly around 30,000 but you can easily tell since the motor is so clean and no scent of cleaner was found.

***Pics will be up soon gotta change the dates and such thanks to my camera***

Day 3: didn't really do much more like did some more research, and fiddled with ecu wires."a lot easier to take out then i thought!!

Day 4: Spent the day talking with the engine company about the things that came broken/cut they quoted that " we would never ship something messed up like that" and told me i should file a claim with ups freight. The company is still sending my the wires that were cut and different sensors.

Day 5: Pulled the engine and talked with the engine company about the things that came broken/cut they quoted that " we would never ship something messed up like that" and told me i should file a claim with ups freight. The company is still sending my the wires that were cut and different sensors.

Day 6: Pulled my a/c off the car and started going at the transmissions.

Day 7: Put the ge ground harness onto the gte and pulled the ge upper and lower oil pans along with ripping engine apart.

Day 8: Drilled hole for upper oil pans tubo flange.

Day 9: Pulled gte oil pan and drained fluids.

You doing your own wiring? If you could, can you tell me if anything having to do with your starter circuit goes through the throttle control ecu?

I sent mines to DR.Tweak too because there is very limited wire harness information on the net
But Stuart Hagen has put together a wonderful Web Site with all kind of tech info. that anyone with a supra(2jzgte) would ever need A-Z
There is alot of factory wiring diagrams
Check the Link

Thumbs up

Damn, swapping a turbo worthy motor in without having to change a headgasket or migrate to coil on plug is VERY enticing I must say....
