how to check engine codes?

Default how to check engine codes?
I used the search button, and could not get any results with info. on the easiest way to check engine trouble codes on a 95 sc400. And also the location of the ALDL plug.

Us old guys need all the brakes we can get. I printed it off for future use. Seems like every time I use the search button, it says it has matches, but I dont see where they are.

Thanks DX3, although my CEL is not on, another member said he had stored trouble codes anyway.

So I jumped the two positions and didnt get any CEL flashes. I guess there are no stored trouble codes.
