I Want A Turbo
Hey All,
I have a 98 sc3, I got spanked by a turbo 240sx twice (fooh is lucky I wasn't on my s2k).
Now, I would like to turbo my car just incase if I ever see that car again.
Is there such thing as "Turbo Budget"?
I just don't want to spend too much.
Cheers-

pretty much Na-t is your best rout. If you are mechanically inclined, you can do it for a couple thousand cheeper. you just need to know what your doing. The XS power kit on www.clubna-t.com is around 1,700 for all of the parts you will need to do the turbo. if you want you can go all out and spend 5 grand. It really does matter the ceaper up front, the more expensive in the long run, but from what ive heard the XS is pretty good as well as the boostlogic...hit the search button!

The XS turbo kit is a great way to start a project, but you need more than just the kit ($1700). If it looks too good to be true, then look on the clubna-t forums and look at all the positive feedback from this kit. The only issue i have with it is that it's not a complete kit, but the remaining parts you can buy based on your personal preferences. You would need an I/C piping kit (also offered by Turbo XS), new clutch, colder spark plugs, new exhaust setup, fuel managment, gauges, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, injectors (reccomended if you want to go for more than 350-400hp), and head gasket (again, not required but reccomended for more power). All in all i say around $2500-$3000 all together, depending on what other parts you use. I hope to go this route in a year or two on my car, but i want to develop some driving skills and build my car to handle all the extra go fast goodies. Good luck!
