Default New Catback Straight Pipe Exhaust Lots of PICS !

So here I am trying to find out how to NA my car, just so it could be more of a fun car to drive. Im starting of with an Intake and Exhaust , moving on to a PI Torque Converter .

So here are my Straight Pipe Pics

Using friends Muffler shop , 90 degree weather , very hot !

side shot Semi Oval Remus Mufflers had them lying around for a loooong time

The 2.5" pipes were first squeezed with 2.25" in on each end , then welded.

Can you guys help me figure out what the hell this black box is. Its by the muffler on the drivers side

nice exhaust, i don't know what that black box is but maybe it's for a built in radar detector.. mine has one like this

very nice setup, although i think that if you put in an H-pipe or even an X-pipe somewhere down the line you might find a bit more power with equalized back pressure on both sides. Don't know the whole theory behind it but it works.

Post up some sound clips if and when you can!

Normal temps out here are 120~123. Thats very hot.

Yes i know this applies to any car with a V type engine design. If you look closely in the first pic there are two exhaust pipes coming from the engine bay meaning it's an SC400 V8 as opposed to the single outlet design on the SC300 straight 6.

What he means by NA is Naturally aspirated meaning the motor is making all the power w/o power adders like superchargers, turbochargers, etc.
