SC400 electrical issue???
A friend of mine has a 94 SC400 with 170K and asked me for some help which I was unable to assist with so I figuered Id ask the forum for some help. He just had a Kenwood Navigation Headunit installed in his car. The following things occur with the car even after he put a new battery and a new altenator with no luck.
1. When turn signal is on the dash lights blink with the signals.
2. When car hits the brakes almost stopped the radio sound cuts out a little but not all the way. It sounds like speaker wire is getting crossed, but the radio is hooked up properly.
All his dash lights are lit properly, none are out. The dash used to blink even with his factory radio.

there are no speaker wires or any wires associated with the radio by the brake pedal. there is a ton of stuff under the steering column though. before paying the dealer get the wiring schematic for the whole car and take off the underdash panels on the driver side. then start diagnosing the problem from there.
good luck.
good luck.

The main issue is the blinky dash. The radio issue I am going to put a capacitor between the battery and the radio and factory amp. I just was mainly wanting to know what causes the dash to blink with the turn signals.
