Please help car wont start after crash
I lost control in the rain today and damaged my quater panel....passenger side
car died....cranks but wont turn over
we checked fuel and ignition and everything is workin fine.
I was wondering if there is some type of kill switch in the trunk area if the car is rear ended?

hmmm if its cranking but not turning over must be some kind of ignition porblem, did you check your plugs/distributor? also what about your battery? hmmm might wanna check your fuel pump if not already.

Good to hear you are ok. Check and see if you are getting any fuel. First be very quiet. Second put the key in the ON position. If you hear the fuel pump hum then you're getting fuel. Check to see if the coil is still hooked up. Also look in the trunk and inspect the gas tank for any damage since it did hit the passenger panel.

we have ignition when it cranks already checked for spark
aslo checked the voltage on the fuel pump....and everything comes out fine.I can hear the pump turn when the key is turned
I was just wondering if there is some type of kill switch in the rear.
some cars have a reset button that is used after a car is rear ended to prevent any spark of fuel in case the fuel tank is damaged.
we are just scratching are heads right now.

I know the problem.
............... you wrecked it.
(sorry to hear about that though)
By the way you need to check the cam shaft sensor if there is one. The crank shaft sensor will give it spark, but without the cam sensor it won't do jack. Dunno if that engine has one or not.

well the car did spun out and did a 360 and then stalled.....maybe this could have affected the crank sensor.
Any idea were this is connected or any wire that is routed to the crank sensor.
Also is there a reset button for the ecu?....I'm gonna try and reset it,maybe the fact that it stalled affected the ecu
btw:the car is a 94 auto with only 124k on the clock

If you have after market wheels, check the driver front fender lining. The harness may be exposed and wire..s are probably cut. considering the flexing the body goes trough from breaking and tail spinning, even with srock wheels the that harness is affected. inspect all wires, open the the plastic sleeve and check throughly.
