i have been working a lot so i haven't been able to put much time in the swap but here is an update. i have the 2jz-ge & the auto trans out. i also disassembled the center console, and took the soarer throttle cable out and put it in the sc.
the soarer motor is almost completely disconnected, ready to come out. the ONLY thing holding it in the car is motor mounts and the trans crossmember.
here are some parts i have for the new 1jz-gte sc.
SS CLUTCH LINE 45$ air filter and intake 10$ hydraulic master cylinder(came with clip)

i also have some parts that i ordered today from driftmotion. sc auto to manual pedal conversion kit

i still need to find out how to seal the sc trans tunnel because of the new cutout that the manual needs.
the exhaust still needs to be modified, i think i am just going to replace cats and resonators with straight pips and keep that for the time being.
BUT i think i am gong to wait to drop the 1jz in until i change main seals, water pump, spark plugs, liquids, timing belt, accessory belt, and oil filter. the motor also really needs to be cleaned and painted.

Shern, he was just saying that it feels like the trans has 7 gears, rather than 6 (5+reverse, 6+reverse). It COULD of had a swapped transmission. But definantly is not a V160. I doubt its any thing other than a late model soarer R154 and is a 5 speed.
