Default Woo Hoo! Failed my inspection!

So I failed my inspection. LOL. No big surprise there.

Ill post up exact numbers and a scan of the sheet later when I get home.

On the first run with the turbo on with a small tune. It failed everything but passed N0.

Second run is failed again... I took off the charge pipe this time and zero'd out my SAFC maps.

CO was 64!!!

Passed N0

Ill post up more details later.

My question to you guys. Stock cars... What A/F numbers do they normally run? Mine was running 12.1 @ 2k rpms under light throttle around 30 mph

This seems kinda high to me. With the turbo and tune it runs fine. 14.7 when not under boost and 12.1 when under boost.

At cruise, you're A/F should be leaner than that. I've actually used SAFC's to pass emissions on some cars. Like the SR swapped cars I've done. I just pulled out a lot of fuel, and passed the sniffer test. They just use light load, and since the cylinder pressure isn't high, I've never worried about it. It's not like they do WOT for this test. Just an idea for you.

Yea thats what I was thinking since it was at cruise and NOT under boost and this is probably why my CO was 64. lol.

Im going to tune it to 14.7 all around on the lo-map and keep my high-map the way it is. At idle it usually sits at 17 or 18.

Forgot to mention the car is running without 02's

When I connect them the car acts funny. I left them out and the car runs fine. Just needs a tune now.

lean it out a bit. then try again. at wot 12:1 is okay but will depend on boost and such. an idle it should be almost like NA

good luck let us know how it goes

are you using a cat with your setup? makes me wonder if you can tune a car to pass without a cat, as long as no one knows lol.
