Here are a couple of pictures of my current BFI mod. I will be painting this piece black in the next few days as well as modifying the chamber behind where the front bumper installs. Compare the size of the OEM snorkel with my new one. Note how it still fits snuggly behind the passenger headlight, and I can still remove the headlight bulbs without disconnecting this modified snorkel. I can't wait to finally mount the bumper back on and take her for a spin.

That is a great take on the BFI. You should definitely experience a significant portion of the gains that the conventional BFI builder does without sacrificing any loss in OEM appearance and functionality under the hood. Props for making such a unique item to get the most of your BFI.

will be interesting to see how the fiberglass holds up to the heat under the hood seeing as it is right beside the radiator.

I'd wrap it in an aluminum heat shield to avoid as much heat as possible, as well as improve it's appearance. Perhaps just the flexible stuff that is like metal backed insulation.

Thanks for the props guys. I have not driven this car yet. We just got another 6 inches of snow here in MI. I am becoming really impatient waiting for the weather to break some. This car has been sitting since late December and I have done a few suspension mods Supra Sways and front LCA's as well as a full tune up, full brake job, and complete fluid change over to AMSOIL. I put the ROD MILLEN exhaust on and the car still idles really quietly. I think I am going to go ahead and remove both rear resonators. Which would most of you recommend the Magnaflow H or X pipe? Once again, this is going to be my Dad's ride and I just wanted it to sound a little more like a V8. I have had this entire car re-painted and I am waiting for the finished product on my front chin spoiler mod.
