Default What wastegate are you running?

For all those peeps that gone Big Single, what wastegate are you running?
V-Band? 44mm, 50mm, or 60?
Tial or Fake?

Any problems and issues with the fake ones on ebay?

That is the only piece I am missing for my Big Single upgrade.

Thanks

Dont use the Ebay ones. Any wastegate that says "style", dont use, i.e. "HKS style wastegate". I run a Tial 46mm 4 bolt on a SP61. It depends the turbo and psi that you are gonna run also, depending on how "big" your single setup is, you might want to go a little larger just to make sure though.

i run a tial 44 although ive had problems in the past with the valve breaking right off causing the car to way over boost and blow a motor but havent seen it happen in a while. never had any problems with my turbonetics gate.

deff dont go ebay style for your waste gate use something nice like tial or turbonetics

I have the XS Power 38mm, no issues whatsoever. I've known people who were making a lot more power than me using them so I'm not that worried about it. If you're the type who needs name brands though, don't get it.

Name brand is not an issue to me, as long as it is reliable.

Anyone have a V band wastegate? Or is everyone using the 4 bolt type.

Just curious cause I will have to get a V Band WG cause of the manifold I am using. I'd like to hear some comments on the V Band WG.

Thanks

I run the Tial wastegate with a vband (same for my BOV). No issues and makes it easier to change out.

im running a tial 44mm vband on a boostlogic 2jzgte manifold.
i have had NOOOOO problems up to 1000 hp crank. we recently did 30+ pulls breaking in the motor on the dyno, and had no boost creep or boost control problems

the reason why i say 1k crank hp is because im running a th400 auto, and its figured that this trans soaks up roughly 20-25% in drivetrain loss.
