Default 1jz Help....Please Help

Hey, I have searched..well I found a 1jz 5MT for my swap..but the only problem is I think that it is from a supra, the oil pan is in the front..

The guy I am buying it from bought it for his 240sx but decided to put a RD25 instead, But he took the 1jz apart and cleaned all of the insides and he also got the engine polished and is letting it go for 2k(also has a brand new clutch and flywheel)

Do yall think i should get it..or jus get a 1jz from a soarer

Please guy, Jus let me know what to do????????

If you have the money to finish that 1jz and replace the oil pan for rear sump. I would go for it. Otherwise order a 1jz with a r154 from one of the importers. Seen them run for around that price. Give or take a few hundreds.

I would order another 1jz if I'm not planning to go big single any time soon.

U could buy it and modify it to work on your sc but it would be alot easier to just buy the right motor for your car imo.

A soarer 1 j will be better .soarer harness will run you about 300 to 1000 dollars .then you have to convert the water pump so you can use a clutch fan .then you have to do the shifter mod .Better off getting a soarer setup
