Weird exhaust whistle
i have this weird exhaust whistle and i'd like to know what it is before i start piecing my exhaust together.
It's medium to high in the rev range

My car did this when i first bought it and it did sound verry similar to yours. I found the problem to be caused by the heat shield on the headers with a loose bolt, i removed the shield and no more anoying wistle.
I at first couldnt pinpoint where it was commign from but it seemed like it got caught in the harmonics going with the muffler and actually sounded like it was comming from the rear of the car. I even went as far as having a friend drive next to me to listen and see if he could pinpoint location because it would get louder with the amount of load put on the engine mounts.
