any one have any good tips for getting this blue line into the end casing on the fitting? I'm having a hard time with it i can get it the first little bit in until it hits the threads on the inside and its just way to small i cant seem to get the threads to go around the outside of the line and catch. I've tried trimming down small amounts of the blue outer weave but still a no go. To give you an idea ive had this thing in a vice and a socket around the fitting pressing down with all my weight i just cant get it on.

So quick question, couldn't the earl fitting bottoming out problem be solved by using a shorter fitting like a 10mm-14mm?

Bumping this old thread for some questions since I need to replace my high pressure hose and will need to add a cooler. Might as well replace it all. Can someone comment on my proposed setup?

Reservoir to pump, -10AN (using PHR slim fit relocation kit)
pump to rack (high pressure) -6AN with the fittings described in this thread and appropriate line
rack return to cooler -6AN - DM has a return fitting that's supposed to work since its an odd size like 17mm
cooler to reservoir -6AN

The only link i need the 3000psi line on is the pump to rack, correct? the rest standard stainless braid will work?

I would be suspect of a flat washer and o-ring holding up at 1400 psi. This gates hose worked for me, perfect fit and hoses clocked perfect. Sometimes you can get them at a good price slightly under $300
