Default Shifter Upgrades..

Hey, I currently have a 93 Sc300 and wanting to get it so its driveable. and was wondering if there is any upgrades or different shifter for the auto tranny. Or will the whole shifter assembly from a different car fit there too. Ex. Stock auto supra shifter? GS300? Anything?

Thanks
Chris

97+ gated shifter is the only thing that will directly bolt in.

Yeah i was talking about the whole thing. Shift **** and assembly. Im looking at putting my car back together from the 2jzgte transplant and thats all i am missing inside to make it one step more driveable.

Also were is the best place to get the whole assembly or do you just go to the dealership and get the whole package.

Thanks
Chris

I think people just wire in the button and leave it hanging down the side...

You no longer need the button, moving the shifter to the left will turn off the OD, to the right is with OD on. The switches are built into the shifter assembly. Just swapping the 2 wires from the old assembly to the new gated shifter is simple and straight forward. No need to wire in a switch an leave it hanging.
