youre a little off..."NONE of the 5sp SC ever came with a factory LSD."
the only thing that is remotely close to an SC and having a factory LSD is the NA Supra. it was a rare option. SC300 5sp or not never came with an LSD.

At first, i believed i had LSD when i did a burn out in my auto.
Until i hit hard corners, i felt the sway and automatically knew i didnt have LSD....It would have been great if SC's came stock with LSD like n/a supras.

Mine sure doesn't. With the stock 15x6.5's back on it for bad weather, it peg legs just trying to leave a stoplight halfway quickly.

NO SC's came with LSD. An open diff can still plant down 2 tire marks when doing a burnout. Take it through a turn and you'll notice.

Easiest way to tell if you have a limited slip differential or not....... Jack up the back of the car so both tires are off the ground. Spin one wheel with your hands. If the other wheel spins at the same time then you have a limited slip. If the other wheel isn't moving at all........ open differential. I'm pretty sure that all SC300's came with an open differential.

actually when you jack up the car and spin one wheel the other wheel should go in the same direction. that should tell you that you have lsd. if it spins in the oppposite direction it's open diff. i did this test when i changed out my diff and both diff had wheels spinning in the opposite direction. only way to tell if i did all that work for nothing was i did a donut on the street and i was able to do a stand still donut.
