its a component welded into your piping that completely bypasses the mufflers when open but when closed it sounds like your normal perfectly legal exhaust

if your looking to make your car sound like a supra, then all you would need is to go single on the exhaust with 3" piping, cause u already got the 2JZ the only thing missing is the single, a friend was telling me that cars with dual are more quiet and given that sc300 is a lexus luxury coupe, it was given dual in order for it to have a quiet ride. I honestly would rock a single exhaust on my 300, the problem is that ppl are like why are you gonna put single if your rear bumper is designed for dual??? or the classic, that's gonna look stupid, if anything, i'm looking for a rear bumper for single, if i can't find it i will have to modify the 97' bumper i got and make it single so i can rock the single exhaust.

Agreed. I have an HKS Superdrager catback from a Supra extended to fit the car (bolts up, just need to extend either your midpipe or the catback itself) and it sounds just like a Supra (obviously, with a 2JZ going through a common Supra exhaust).

I don't have any vids of it at the moment.

Something along these lines though (before he opens the cutout)
