Shim kit for valve body on SC400...
I found a couple old posts about upping the line pressure in the transmission. They said something about installing shims behind the springs in the valve body, my question is does someone sell a shim kit for the SC400?? If not, if anyones done this, what size shims do you use. I know the height is 6mm, i just need the diameter and maybe a place to buy them from?

Seems like the guy from Supraforums used washers......Is there anyone online that would sell the right size shims in different thinknesses, depending on how hard you wanted your tranny to shift. If not I guess i'll be going to the hardware store to try to find something that would work.

Slow sc, how much did you shim?
I was going to try a lesser amount in the 1-2 accumulator so I don't spill my coffee in the morning, but wanted a firm shift on the upper gears.

When you pull the accumulators just bring them to the hardware store and find some that fit. You also wanna shim less on the 1-2 shift becuase the 2nd gear sprag is one of the weak points on the tranny after clutch packs.
