Default Christmas came early for me!

So today was an awesome day, i come home for lunch and theres a huge box sitting on my doorstep. I got all excited and found out it was just the manifold . Then i come home from school later today and i find another huge heavy *** box and it just so happend to me mah turbo n stuff!

Pics:

Everything laid out:

The stuff:
T57
Tial BOV
50MM Wastegate
Tubular manifold

Ill be getting my intercooler and piping in a coulpe of days, i still need to buy the oil lines, electronics ect. I got an extremely good deal on the turbo/wastegate/bov from ssautochrome. All 3 with dump tube, gaskets and such for $325 shipped! Ill update this thread when i get everything and have it installed. Wish me luck!

why did u go with the t57 turbo? Isn't the spool up slower than the T61?

Congrats man, I know what it's like getting stuff like that in the mail!

What piping did you go with? Piping is the last piece of my puzzle.

From what i read it is actually the quicker spooling turbo. Im not too sure is thear is 1.15 and on the t61 its like .70 or something. Im not really going for power, im mainly doing this build for the fun of it so i figured the smaller turbo would be better for around town driving.

Ebay piping, theres a way to route it where its a perfect fit and its only $80 shipped for the piping w/couplers and clamps. Get a kit with 2 straight pipes, 2 75*, 2 45*, and 2 90* and you will be fine. If you want to know how to route it go to clubna-t and go to customer installations and go to the "fmic on a budget" thread and there is a guy that did his with the piping above with minor cutting and it actually looks pretty clean.

Mind PMing me a link to the one you got with everything you needed for $80?? I look at that thread on ClubNA-T almost once a day, I have a few posts in it. I know how I'm going to run the pipes I just need the actual parts to do it.

Ah it's 2.5". I'll look and see if they have any 3" kits.

Be sure to post pics as you install everything, I spend all day at work reading about installs.

I was looking to piece together a little NA-T kit, but wanted a fun budget build rather than a serious monster...you mind sharing what this kit has cost, if you dont want to post publically please pm me.

Yup, check clubna-t. There are a lot of people running this stuff and getting awesome numbers without any problems.
