Default 2 fuel filters in the sc300?

hey all,
does the sc300 have 2 fuel filters?
I know there is one under the car behind the passenger side front well, right?
but looking at the shop manual (on how to change out the pump)
there is another fuel filter on the assmebly (and I'm not talking about the fuel sock).

The one in the fuel pump aseembly looks small tough, so I'm not sure if it's any good, or maybe it's like a "pre-filter" to block out bigger debris?

Fairly certain both the 300 & 400 have the ONE filter in the same place. Under the car in front of the drivers side rear wheel.

your right about thr location of the one under the car (my mistake in original post)
I'll try and scan the shop manual, which has a diagram of one on the pump assembly

This is correct also known as a atrainer, I guess this could be called a filter.

besides the fuel sock
there are 2 small cylinders, one like a small tin shoe poslish (supposed to be fuel regulator) and a longer (or taller one, thats supposed to be a fuel filter)

guess it's extra redundency in the system
wondering if I should replace that one as well and the regulator while I do the big fuel filter.
getting lots of miles on my car, and some things aren't in the scheduled maintence schedule....
