Not true, ball bearing is rebuildable. Last i checked, it was about double what it would cost to rebuild a non bb.

from past experience, and running both BB and non BB on the same vehicle, a BB is a better option especially for daily driving. Getting a BB allows u to get a larger turbo with same spool as a slightly smallerand get better top end...and for what, 10-15% more in price ? Defenatly a step in the right direction. Also the reason they last longer is not so much because of the bb itself, but because more bb turbos are both oil cooled AND water cooled. Getting a bb turbo both oil and water cooler = turbo last you a long long time running hard daily..what more could u want?

Ball Bearing is rebuildable and you will gain about 400-500 rpm's of spooling sooner. And just in case your interested, I have a PTE/BL 67P-DBB w/only 100 miles on it forsale at $1100 + s/h

Ball Bearing turbo's are generally better than it's non ball bearing counterpart. It does spool up a few rpm's quicker but for the price difference, I would rather go with a conventional non ballearing turbo. If you are trying to achieve a 1/4 mile time as opposed to a sell satisfaction vehicle, I would go with the ball bearing turbo.
