i've had my car for about 6 months now and never had a problem with it, and tonight all of a sudden my air conditioning goes out on me. the ac control unit is still backlit green like normal.. but there is no text... almost like its stuck in off mode. could this be a fuse? what are some things i could check for? thanks

 

samething happened to me....check you fuse then you should be good

 

Check the fuse under the kick panel in the car, also make sure nothing got in your cigarette lighter.

 

now that you mention it.. i noticed there was a penny in the cigarette lighter.. i was wondering if somehow it created a short or something, but didnt think it would be that.. i took the penny out.. does anyone know the exact location of the fuse i should check? i checked the drivers side kickpanel fuse box and didn't see an "ac" fuse.
