(1) Run a compression test on your motor.

A well taken care of motor will be even across all cylinders well over 100k miles, but a badly taken care of motor will struggle to pass this test early and often.

It is impossible to know if your motor is healthy enough for boost until you run a compression test.

(2) Learn your turbo dynamics.

Learn what is happening where and how everything inter-relates. With a basic understanding of each part's interplay into the turbo set up, you will be able to become your own turbo expert.

Knowing what is going on under your hood will be much better than simply following someone else's advice blindly while not learning anything.

I have that kit on my car, I put down 630 whp on 91 octane.

Harbinger Aug 30, 2007 09:26 AM

www.clubna-t.com/forums for most of your turbo needs. also www.supraforums.com, but that will take longer b/c their search function is now non-existant.
