Default 1jz to sc300 AC fix

yeah, here it goes, Ive seen this fix somewhere but cant find it now that I need it.

Problem: After 1jz swap i cant use my climate control.
Need: To know how to make it work.

Oh yeah, one more thing that ive been searching for the last hour.

Problem: After walbro fuel pump install, the only way the fuel pump works is to jump FP&B+

Need: Fuel Pump ecu bypass mod.(I know about the risks)

I'll throw this potential AC fix your way. My 2j swap wiring harness was not done correctly and left the AC ecu unpowered, therefore no climate control. See if your AC ecu is powered. My shop did the work, I just know what they found.

Fuel Dampener Bypass Mod is found on @ MKIV.com: http://www.mkiv.com/main/index.html , click on the "tech articles, scroll down to the "other mods / photos" and click on the "fuel bypass line mod" .

Thanks, But what im looking for is what to do to the plug that plugs near the blower fan, right under-neath the glove box.

And this is the dampner, not the fuel pump ecu.

Ok, perhaps you're lookin for the "12v mod" for the fuel pump. That should be on MKIV also.

The swap? Yesterday. I got the motor set in from jhot Tuesday, installed the motor same day, extended the wiring Wednesday and did some cleaning in the engine bay then tried starting it later that day with no avail, Thursday jumped FP-B+ to see if it was the walbro fuel pump, which it was, and it started right away. Sidemount intercooler also had a leak so it was not boosting. But all that will change once I get off work today Ill do the ecu bypass mod and the intercooler should be ready to go!

Nothing. There is no blower, no screen, nothing. I thought I saw on a forum somwhere some pins needed to be switched but I cant remember. I guess ill have to dig deeper. Maybe a loose solder when I extended the harness, man its hot and humid here, I need A/C!

I had the same problem, it wasnt plugged in. If there is an extra plug hanging out, you have to pull another panel under the glovebox to plug it in.

You forgot to plug in the wire that goes up under the glove box.

There is no "fix" for AC in a 1JZ swap, because there is nothing to fix. It works. If yours doesn't after the swap, you goofed.
