Default Difffence between 7mge and 2jzge intake manifolds?

I have a sc300, and i notice on the supra engines they have diffrent intake then the sc300 (7mge) which is preety much the same engine... I know that the sc30 has traction control on the intake. i was wondering if anyone knew if there would be a plus to switching to a 2jzge intake as in performance? if there was would there be any problems doing that? I like the way the newer supras intakes, cuz u dont have to remove them when ur replacing the sparkplugs or vavle covers ect.

I think you're getting motors confused, like really badly.

The SC300 does not have a 7MGE. It has a 2jzGE, and so do nonturbo MKIV Supras. The non crossover intake is the 2jz-GTE manifold, which will not work with the GE motor without extensive modifications.

Sounds like you've got a whole lot of reading ahead of you.

M-series motors were replaced by JZ-motors in 1991 in Japan and in 1992 and 1993 in the US (SC300 and Supra)

DKNY...
ur confusing whole lot of other stuff... i beleive your thinking 2jzgte (supra twin turbo) towards the sc300(2jzge or supra NA) so to answer ur quiestion, i dont think its all too worth it changing the sc300 manifold to the 2jzgte maybe unless you are running turbo (NA-T) but even that i dont think it would work out exact. hopefully someone with more knowledge on this would chime in.
