I haven't been driving my car much. my AC used to blow ice cold air. I took my car out for a drive and I had it turned all the way up and on "COLD" and all it was doing was blowing air... not cold at all. I pretty much had to turn it off and roll my window down for air. What might the problem be? Could I be just low on Freeon?

get a gauge and hook it up and itll tell ya if youre low or not...you can get those DIY kits for less than 20 bucks...and it works great my AC blows as cold as a new car

I actually got mine fixed today. I was having the same problem you were, blowing air but not cold. Took it to the boys at Jiffy Lube, AC compressor kicked on so that wasn't the problem. They made sure it held a charge and then filled it up with freon. Now it's blowing ice cold (well 50 degrees F).

cool, the freeon might be the problem then. how much did Jiffy Lube charge?
