dont expect to make any kind of power ive got a 92 5spd i picked up as a dailey/ all motor project so i wont put miles on the soarer and they are just not fast. why go to a map set up?? just stick a v8 maf in it and some 440cc injectors it will run pretty good but an safc will help. that will pick up some power

You can run ITBs with a MAFS, you just have to have an intake plenum and velocity stacks like you would with a turbo setup. They're not hard to make if you already have ITBs (I don't know where you guys source your 6cyl ITBs from, I use GSXR1000 ITBs on SR20s), it's just purchasing some velocity stacks, picking a plenum volume (I match the JUN intake manifold volume/shape) and weld it up with a flange on the front for your MAF.

Yea i knwo i want to run open itb making it itb isnt that hard part and making an intake manifold is easy to i have stamped aluminum pieces so iu can make the manifiold but i want to find a way to run open itb i have velocity stack and i have 2 sets of 20 valve corolla itb so im making a special manifold to bolt onto the 2jz head with the throttles and the stacks is the easy part. find w ay to run map not so easy lol I want to do this not really for crazy power and i know the best way for faster motor is turbo i just want to do this because i havent seen it done yet

there is so much tuning involved in a ITB car ive had one before and hated driving it on the street. thats so much work for so little gain why not go carburated? you will probably gain more with much easier tuning than an ITB set up. Honestly a nice set of side draft carbs would make much more than some tiny ITBs. really why not take it as far as you can on the stock design if you feel you want to waste your time then go to ITBs but i can tell you that a stock ported out intake when done correctly will make a good bit of power this includes removing all the emissions from the manifold such as the egr tube in the y pipe and the butter fly in the plenum and if you have someone that know how to port for all motor then you will be happy with it. I might post some dyno numbers of my ported intake manifold on the NA car

Yea but that would be too easy. ive never seen full open itb 2j all motor before. i know boost is wayyyyyy more power but i want to do this since i have spare parts and access to just about anything i also have an extra motor lying around. i want to build this motor and then put in in my sc see how it does. then figure out hot to stuff it in a corolla
