power steering relocation for aftermarket manifolds on sc300
ok fellas im putting in a aftermarket manifold in my sc300, and obviously the resoivor (sp*) is in my way, so after a bit of research i found what we would need to do in order to move the tank out of our ways.
first we need a tt supra nipple (suction port nipple) to bolt to the power steering pump making it possible to re-route the line.
here is the link to what the part looks like. right side, "suction port nipple"

from there you will need to tap and drill as described in this thread on club na-t post #14 starts where you would want to follow to complete the job.

hope this helps some of you. credit goes to ninety five na on club na-t and the search button for making it easy on me to get this figured out.
i will have pics of how it turned out on my sc300 soon. thanks !
here is a pic of the top of the power steering pump minus the resoivor where the suction nipple would go, jst for reference.

Reviving an old thread. The links to club na-t do not work any longer.
I'm going to relocate my power steering reservoir for the FFIM, and I have an SC400 reservoir, and I have the suction port nipple.
My question is - what needs to be drilled and tapped? It looks like the factory SC300 reservoir is held on with a bolt, and you would just use that same bolt to secure the suction port piece. Is that not correct?
