Default auto to manual swap???

does anyone know of a write up in what parts are needed to do a auto to manual swap in a 94 sc300? and what parts are compatable such as clutch pedals and stuff like that.. because i'm definatly not gunna find a manual sc300 in a junk yard around here. this question goes for both 2jz-ge and 1jz.. becuase i'm tied between the two.

No. No such write up. No one here would EVER dream of doing anything like that.

If they did ever have any CRAZY idea like that, they may have talked about it already and SEARCH might find that information. But since no one here has switched from auto to manual then searching would be pointless.

DRFT-what do you think are the cost associated with it? Say a 98Sc300. Parts+labor? Appreciate the info.

Also do you think it has any effect on resale value?

well im in the process for the complete auto to manual swap. im buying a 1jz and r154 from a JDM soarer swap for $2300 shipped. by the way ill be selling the 1jz since im going with the 2jz instead. if interested please send PMs. anyway im buying a w58 clutch assembly set. the dealers want on a average of $600 and change. but the guys at R & J's are giveing me a better deal. and once all of the other parts come in my friend at a shop will do the complete swap from auto to manual for $600-$650. i think youll need a mk3 r154's front half of the driveshaft and maybe a crossmember from a soarer. ill take pics from beginning to the end of the process.

Daum. I got my clutch assembly for like less than 400 dollars.

My swap is going good. It's simmilar to Supra auto to manual swap but little easier.

Parts you need for a 5spd conversion:

5speed Tranny (with 5spd mount)
M/T ECU
5speed Driveshafts
5speed Flywheel
Clutch kit
Clutch Master and Slave Cylinder w/ hardlines
Clutch pedal assembly
5speed shift boot and ****
5 spd Brake Pedal

Am I missing anything here?

You missed rear diff for manual transmission and the fact that you don't need 5 speed ECU.

Rear diff doesnt need to be changed.. you could still use the original auto rear end. The only difference is shorter gears (which personally, I like).

the ecu doesn't need to be swapped? Even if it's the V160 going in?
