trany upgrade ? or replace?
I have a trany problem and I will have to replace my # 2 solenoid. I went to my local dealer and at first they wanted me to replace the whole valve body which in my opinion was not necessary. I’ve seen in other post where some members were able to get a reworked valve body with a shift kit and new solenoids. My question is where I can get this from I am having a hard time finding trany parts for my sc. please let me know.. Thanks

Dont make the mistake i used to, by making blind repairs. You will paying for the same repairs multiple times.
I would have it diagnosed by a Toyota or another Lexus tech.
I agree , its probably not necessary to change the whole VB . (Unless theres more going on that you dont know about.) Or for performance .
Anyhow heres a place to start if you are interested in doing a valve body upgrade. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ght=valve+body
-Good luck
