Default Formula to Convert Injector Flows, English to Metric?

I'm playing with my Gauge-Tech unit and hope to get a quick answer to this one. I found two articles during a quick search, but they give different answers.

http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_0102/article.html says to multiply lbs/hr by 10.2 to get cc/minute

http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm says to multiply by 10.5

Which is correct?

That calculator uses 10.5 and I believe that is correct (6lbs in a gallon of gas X 60 (min in an hour). Now take 3780 (ccs in a gallon) / 360 (lbs/min) and you get 10.5. Ofcourse thats assuming 6lbs in a gallon which is probably not correct and instead is probably like 6.158975654 which puts it at 10.2. Either way, its not making much difference on the injector size.

Also, the weight of gas varies due to octane and the refining process, so its a rough estimate anyway. I'm getting that gas really weighs around 6.25lbs/gallon which puts the correct conversion factor at like 10.1 or so.

Thanks, guys. I'm thinking the difference could be between US and imperial gallons, since the autospeed page is Australian? So I'm going with 10.5.

No, an imperial gallon is like 4.5L (or 4500cc vs 3780 for a US gal), thus the conversion would be WAY different.
