weird missfiring issues and oil and coolant leaks
This is really bugging me. I'm having misfiring and intermittent sessions of running on only 5 cylinders.
I've got new spark plugs, wires, coil, cap/rotor, and transistor. The last time I took it apart I noticed that my 2 last spark plugs were being flooded and fouled up with oil and possibly a little coolant. I thought the culprits were bad valve cover gaskets. They did need to be replaced since they were all crusty and cracked.
The car ran ok for a day, but small hiccups came back and now it feels like it's running on only 5 cylinders again.
There is a check engine light and "trac off" light on now. I'm going to diagnose that later.
Any Ideas out there as to what my problem is?

A compression check may reveal a defective head gasket.
I, personally, like the screw in gauge design rather than the rubber plug design...
If the compression is somewhat even, then the valve guides are dripping oil into the cylinders.
