I was on my way to go camping and i turned my traction control off and gun it kind of hard from 15 to 65 i looked down as the check engine light came on, tried trying trac back on and it wouldnt turn on. What do you all think? and is it safe to drive untill i have a computer run on it? I drove it back home and nothing went wrong ran like a champ still.

 

Remove the battery ground for a couple of minutes.

This should reset the check engine condiction. The "trac" should restore without the check engine condiction.

If the check engine does not restore, have the OBD read.
