My supercharger kit has finally arrived so my project is underway. I still have a lot of preparation to do prior to the installation so this is pretty much a teaser thread at this point. I still need to get to a Dyno to get a baseline before I tear it apart. Here is a picture of the kit, These parts will either be polished or painted prior to installation. Lots to do! I will update upon progress, FYI It might be slow getting started!

I'm interested in seeing the before/after dyno numbers! Is that an M62?

In reply to the questions. The supercharger is an Eaton M90. The kit comes from a Australian company called Richwood Technologies. I will keep you all updated! Thanks for all your support!

O nice you got it from Richwood. I was under the impression they werent shipping them to the US due to some legal issues and b/c shipping cost would be insane.

Naa, they dont mind shipping richwoodtechnologies@bigpond.com for more info.

I am very interested in this build because it is almost identical to what I want to do. Take LOTS AND LOTS of pics and update often!!!

How much boost do you plan to run and how much nitrous do you plan to hit it with? Also, why didn't you go with 3" exhaust all the way back?

Scotturnoti - You got all the goodies that I have on my SC400....Gotta love the Dragon torque converter right? S&S Headers work great for mid to high end N/A power....How is the SMT6 engine management working out, is that a complete ECU re-wire...The SMT7 is even a better unit...Expensive though...

What are your final power goals once the Eaton Charger is installed on your 97? What are you doing with your existing Nitrous system?...Dumping it or adding it on in combination with the charger? Wicked stuff if you can pull it all off...You may have some serious traction problems with all that low end grunt...

Sorry for all the questions, I just like what you got going on...Good luck with everything...

Oh lastly how much was the complete charger and where did you buy it from?

Well you might note two pulleys in the picture, I bought a 6 lb and a 9 lb pulley. I am not getting to aggressive. I plan to put the 6 lb pulley and dyno tune it. Once I feel comfortable I am going to the 9 lb pulley. As far as the NX system, That will be determined after the Supercharger install is solid. I will keep you posted as it progresses.

I felt 2 1/2" exhaust would work well with 9 PSI boost.

The SMT6 is working good thus far but only street tuning, I have been trying to locate a dyno in my state or close that has tuning experience with it, thus far no luck

What are your final power goals once the Eaton Charger is installed on your 97? I hope to get 350RWHP with out NOS, with nos 425. maybe thats optimistic but hey, you gotta have goals! What are you doing with your existing Nitrous system?...Dumping it or adding it on in combination with the charger? The NX sytem will go on after the Charger is working solid Wicked stuff if you can pull it all off...You may have some serious traction problems with all that low end grunt...

Oh lastly how much was the complete charger and where did you buy it from? I bought it from Richwood, I'm trying to not remind myself of $$$ invested in this project.
If this all comes together its going to be great!
