Default check engine light code 71 EGR

I have a 1992 sc300 and the annoying check engine light stays on, dealer diagnosed code 71. EGR Valve, EGR Diaphram, vacuum switch, and gasket were all changed. I have an after market cold air intake. Dealer Tech suggest replacing stock air intake so that he could check the mass air flow sensor. Is the check engine light common with an after market cold air intake. How can I get around this annoying light. Is there a resistor to fool the ECU. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default check engine light-code 71

Can any one help? 1992 sc300 with aftermarket cold air intake and EGR valve and modulator were changed but that annoying light is still a flaring.
How can i fool the ECU the car runs fine. Possible a little rich to to the increased air flow. Dealer Tech suggested reinstalling the stock air intake so that he could check the mass air flow sensor.
