Default Starter Problems

alright guys about 3 days ago my starter(i think) is making the chip crack sound after i start my car i think its getting stuck in the flywheel w/e is the starter a common problem on this car? please let me know...and does remote start alarm mess up ur starter thanks...oh and how har is it to change?

just had mine replaced. Repair shop took 6 hrs just to get to the starter and 1.5 hr to get it out. Cost was $900. $220 for starter and rest labor. Well worth the labor cost since i seen the car when they were getting the starter out. Throttle body and manifold needs removed and all wires above them. For a ten year old car and finally the starter wen't out for me is pretty good....
