Default really need you tech guys input ...

well, i had posted a couple days ago a problem with my car idling and thought it might have been the idle control valve, well, that wasnt the problem. i replaced the whole throttle body with one off of a friends. after the new one was put on, car started find and idled a little high actually. after a short test drive, the car kinda started to sputter a bit and then just cut off on me when i came to a stop. another thing is when you go to start the car now, there is a smell coming out of the exhaust, its def. running rich, but something else i cant quite place. if anyone has any suggestions or maybe had similar problems, please, let me know. thanks.
