hello everyone

i haven't posted on here in a while. well i am having trouble with me 95 sc400. the car has 116,xxx miles on it, if that helps any. whenever i have the A/C on it runs great. but as soon as i turn off the A/C the car idles funny and wants to die. sometimes it will die on me when i come to a stop with the A/C off. the check engine light isn't on so i have no idea what it could be. is there anyway for me to give it a diognostic test?.

like in my 93 bmw if i pressed the gas full throttle 5 times then the check engine light would blink codes off to me. i was just going to see if anyone could help me on this one.

so my questions are:
1. Is there anyway to give the car a diognostic test?
2. Or can anyone shot me some ideas of what they think the car is dieing from?

A search would turn up the answer...

Put a paperclip/wire/whatever in TE1 and E1 with the car off. Turn the key to ON and the check engine light will flash a certain number of times, pause, then flash a certain number of times. For example, FLASH FLASH PAUSE FLASH FLASH FLASH would be code 23.

thanks for all the help....i would have to find a code book or something for it.....i will change out the MAF...
