Default Coolant warning light.

Hey Guys,

The coolant/water warning light was periodically going on and off in my 92 SC400.
(It's the one that looks like a radiator/merry-go-round)

The other posts on this subject all say its the coolant sensor malfunctioning but it's not quite clear to me where this sensor is located.

Where is this sensor located? Is it the one one the coolant reservoir or is it another one somewhere else? The dealer quoted me $150 CDN to replace it so I want to be sure that's the one I need to replace.

yup. thats it. Mine does the same thing. Wouldn't worry about it too much if coolant level is fine and there is no milky residue in the coolant. The light in my car just turned off after a week of being on .
