Want to do Compression Test...Where is Fuel Pump Fuse?

Default Want to do Compression Test...Where is Fuel Pump Fuse?

I am going to look at an SC300 for purchase. i want to do a compression test...where is the fuel pump fuse so i can pull it? Also what are good compression numbers?

Straight out of the factory manual, page EG-38, this is the only connection it mentions disconnecting (just got the car myself and haven't done this yet).

Numbers:

Compression pressure: 178 psi or more

Minimum pressure: 142 psi

Difference between each cylinder: 14 psi

Step 9 is the connections you disconnect,

step 10 is just pulling the spark plug wire boots from the spark plugs

I need to relieve the pressure on my fuel system for my swap. I'm supposed to pull the fuel pump fuse. Anyone know which fuse this is?

you can pull the efi relay, disconnect the coil, disconnect the igniter, or pull the efi fuse. all of the following will kill the fuel and spark but allow you yo crank the car. good luck with testing
