Default <<FINALLY I GOT MY 1JZ SWAP>>

I got my swap done couple of weeks ago, 1jz auto front mount intercooler and i'm waiting to do my 3.5 exhaust with a single muffler, AFC , the part that sucks is that after it gets warm it will start acting up when going into boost (acting like a fuel cut) is doesn't do it all the time... any ideas ? i'm having a local guy that does all the wiring on the swaps look at it this week to see what the deal is but right know i could use some help from anyone ythat might have come across this problem

thanks , as soon as the problem is figured out is going on the dyno to tune it

I had that prob , if u still have the fuel cut then u need to get a fcc, if u have an fcc might want to check ur bcc i had my old boost controller go nuts and at high rpms start to break up.

I haven't put a fuel cut defensor but it shouldn't matter because is boosting 10psi (when it wants to) wich is stock boos and the fuel cut is supose to work if you go over the stock boost (basically is acting like if it was going over the stock boost)

Fuel cut is in the 14lb area...... if it gets there, it's going to cut - unless you have a boost cut controller.

I hit boost cut at 1 bar. Anything under and your fine. Check your spark plugs, if they are gapped something stupid like .040 thousands, they might be blowing out.

i change apark plugs twice and they are gap 0.025 thousends that should be good, someone told me today to bypass or put a diferent fuel pump relay that gives the fuel pump 12 volts constantly, i was thinking that the fpr might it been bad so i went and bought an aeromotive fpr qith the gauge and installed a wallboro 255 fuel pump and that didn't help the problem

The factory sc's fuel pump is insufficient for full boost on a 2jz swap, maybe your problem as well.

I already have a wallboro 255 fuel pump, i might even try some us 2jz fuel injectors (550cc) to see if that helps me any and also because is in my plans to change them anyhow
