Anyone using Line Lock/Roll Control?
I've come to the conclusion that I need to invest in a line lock system.
What are you guys using? I know Hurst makes a universal one, but what about the hard-lines?
Please post up the model you're using, what it came with, and what else you had to buy/make/do to get it installed.
Where did you mount the solenoid? Picture would be awesome!
Thanks in advance,
~Alan

I run the Hurst "roll control" and just measured out what length lines I would need and ordered the appropriate braided ss hoses.
I would really like another one for use on the rear brakes for the burnout. I am currently using the line lock on the fronts for both the burnout and staging... but I feel using one on the rear would be better for burnout though I still need the front for preloading at the line.
Titan does offer a kit, which I believe is just the Hurst unit and a couple of lines - I'd rather have the freedom of deciding what length lines / location of my unit and probably cost less than their kit too.
I just looked through my pics and couldn't find a clear shot of it, but you can see it located on the drivers side wall beside the brake cylinder.

Thanks a lot for you input.
Off the top of your head, do you remember the size of the fittings on the ends of those hoses?
Is it a standard brake hose fitting, or is it just a regular AN?
I don't quite follow...how would you use your rear brakes during a burnout?
Thanks again,
~Alan

On a drag car it's used to hold the tranny on a launch. In very simple terms it is not allowing full gear engagement until the transbrake is released on the launch.

He specifically said he want the line lock on the rear for burnouts which is what gets me.
If he was using it as a transbrake, it'd be understandable...but then again, by the looks of his car (list), he's nowhere near poor.
I'll wait for him to chime in.
