Default Speed sensor 97 sc3? Where is it?

Does anyone know where the speed sensor is on a 97sc3? Is that the thing in the wheel well you can see in the back when the trunk is gutted? I need to hook up my navigation to it... I'm guessing it's somewhere on the back of the guage cluster right...?

im quite positive it's not on any of the wheels. Maybe the newer SC430's, but not on the 1st gen sC.

Do a search, I've posted which wire and where it's located a while back somewhere in the threads.

Perhaps you might find this useful. I dont have the diagram for the 97 SC but since all the transmission are all the same you shouldnt have a problem finding it. This is for a manual but the sensor on the auto is in the same area.

Main ECU will have it. Look at the schematic for it. For your nav sys that is your best bet. Which Nav are you installing?

AVN5435 with a 10w7, jl500-1, alpine 40-4, and some wireless controllers to go with the ps2 and xbox from the trunk, pictures will be up in a week or two!

Nevermind to anyone else who is doing this project, the ABS speed sensor is worthless for this system. HOWEVER pin number 23 on the dark grey ECU plug is the wire you want!! Good luck!
