Default Apexi WS or Tanabe Tuner Racing?

Looking at these two mufflers, both in the universal application. I think the Apexi WS traditional muffler shape is classier. But the Tanabe Tuner doesn't look too be either since it's really long (the canister part) and the tip is conservative looking. Which would you pick?

A

B

I haven't looked but is there a lot of space behind the bumper to mount a WS muffler?

I've been a big Apexi fan, had the N1 and WS before. How does the other brands compare like HKS, Greddy, Tanabe?

I don't want an annoying hum at high speeds and want a really low pitch.

Well, it was either of two looks. The traditional or the long coke can style. I guess I'm sticking with the classic traditional look. I started to look into Tanabes other options,

Non-slant tip so it doesnt seem so ricey.

As long as the canister portion of the World sport or SMHyper is tucked up well it will look nice. (Looks tacky seeing the majority of the muffler other than the tip IMHO). Ive never heard in person a SMH but the world sport, hyper and racing, sound very good.

I had the WSII universals, the canisters were too big. They barely fit but were way too low. I ended up going with some smaller mufflers. The Hyper looks good.

the only thing i dont like about is that the exhaust isnt push up high enough againts the rear bumper so from behind it looks like it hangs to low. looks good from the side tho.
i will bring it back into the shop and have them mount it higher as soon as spring/summer comes along.

Were these the universal mufflers or the ones designed for the SC? How did you make the cat-back piping? Did you use a X or just a Y to spit the pipes at the end?

Great looking car, any rear quarter images? Thanks!
