500hp civic or Lexus sc300-T
As some of you might have noticed I have been annoying you all with silly noob questions. well simply because, I have been really falling for the sc300's and have been reading up alot on NA-T conversions. now I currently have a built civic. my setup is good for 600+hp. but currently make 427whp. I have no track times yet but I would at least expect low 11's@128-130mph. its very tastefully done, its not your typical **** box ricer. no stickers, wings, etc I have two resonators so it doesnt sound horrid. guages are strategically placed for stealth. BOV is routed back into the intake stream, and the intercooler is anodized black. you cant tell the car is boosted until WOT.
Now I could keep my civic and get a cheap sc300 and do a small turbo setup probably 360+hp. possibly low 400hp. or I could sell the civic and swap in a supra Getrag and shoot for 600+hp.
With the first option I have a very fast daily driver and a decently fast weekend luxury cruiser. with the second option I have a pretty fast car that can double as a daily. what do you think I should do? oh and here is a pic of my current sleeper.

at least either way you will get an SC
but do remember we love the big # SC's but regardless of what we think just try to find the solution that is most economical for you. good luck.

Come on man, would you seriously drive a riced out civic?
A civic I don't mind driving, but to drive something and modify it so that it totally does not agree with your tastes..I don't know. I couldn't do it. If you can, more power to you

I had a 94 cx hatch for a while, i liked it for an A to B type car. No real comfort, the interior felt real cheezy. My ex GF's 2005 special edition civic for $20k feels like a tin can compared to my 1992 lexus. I just love the solid feeling of the lexus.

I went from a Civic EG w/ a B16A plus other goodies and went to a 5 spd SC300. Although the Lexus is less fun to drive compared to the Civic, I feel that it is a FAR more mature and refined car. I guess it comes down to your goals, if you want a ***** fast car, then go for the civic. If you want something more comfortable and respectble yet sporty, then go for the Lexus.

Yeah I know what regamasters/rotas slips look like. The wheels in the first post photo above are Work Rsz-r's.
