i need traction!!!!1
14.4 @ 100 with a 2.4x 60ft.
Bone stock 1JZGTE on stock psi, stock NA exhaust with no mufflers, just resonators, 255 series bald pilots and an OPEN diff. I didnt stop spinning and actually take off til middle of 2nd gear launching off 1100rpm. I hate bithlo, i get better traction on public roads!
Better watch out Chino!! 13.5 @ 104 is plenty do-able on my stock motor at stock psi with no electronics, gimme a few weeks to work out the suspension

My goal is to beat chino's time of 13.5... with no engine mods
275/40/17 drag radials will be in the mail within a week or 2 along with some suspension changes. I feel with a good launch under boost and a nice 1.8 60ft, open DP i can be low 13s!

I'm auto without the correct tranny ECU, so i have to manual shift it. Kinda gets tricky 1-2, u gotta click the shifter up almost 2k rpms before it actually shifts, i still ended up having to let off full throttle cause i hit the rev limiter

Especially with my open diff, i think my only route to go is going to be full slicks. I also have to get my tranny shifting in order, letting off and hitting the limiter is costing me a few mph. Low 13s with no electronics and stock psi should be easily attainable, this motor has great mph. My goal of the night no matter the ET was 100mph, and it hit it with driver errors (shifting, wheel spin).
As the air cools and i add on some spark and fuel management, it might seem kinda far fetched, but since this motor likes to go... i wanna try to get 12's within the next few months on stock 9psi.
Ok ok flame me.... but watch out in the next month or 2!!

i saw the timeslip... its true. i dont think you will get into low 13s with that open diff. it just seems a bit crazy to me. why spend the money on slicks when it would be better spent on an LSD? and another note..... im sure the next time chino is at the track, he will se 12s.... but thats just my opinion.

yeah he might run 12s, but he's fully modded cept cams and big turbo!!
My open diff will slow me down some, but some normal size slicks will help! I just need to source a 15x10in rim that fits the body! I didnt build this car to street race, its all for the track. I don't care what it does on public roads. My goal is to hit 12s on stock PSI, but with other electronics. I wanna get 13.5 with no add-ons. A 1.80 60ft should make that happen. Ive seen plenty open diff 3600lb cars get 1.80.
Shane last night was running 11.7x with just his T76 and open downpipe, bone stock everything else (cept drag radials). He's my hero lol
