Clutch for a 93 SC300
Does anyone know where I can get a good price on a Oem clutch or a possibly a stage 2 performance? Also, does anyone have any recommendations on any shops in the NYC/NJ area. Thanks.

ACT makes a good clutch, for a good price. But I know alot of supra guys use Spec, or HPF(horse power freaks), but they seem to be real pricey.
neoprelude, was the ''ebay clutch'' an Eclutchmaster?
I have one for my honda. They're friction material is made from Miba, which is a material used on aircraft brakes. Seems like good stuff.
Just wondering.

i picked up my ACT street clutch from prostreetonline.com a while back and i've just been loving it so far! if you're not running turbo or even a small amount of boost, it's a good choice. if you're running serious power though, definitely not the street clutch. go for some puckage.

i think 7psi is a small amount of boost, but this should yield about 300rwhp with my setup, yet the ACT clutch kit with modified street disc is rated at 277 ft/lbs of torque..how can this be fine? It seems underrated to me. I do agree that the ACT + HPF Bronze disc is too expensive though...even though it apparently works well .

Same one I bought, my dad installed it. Don't waste your money on some clutch that will only hold 200 and some lbs of tq, when you can get this stage 3 for under 250!! And I can vouche it's great and grabs wonderfully, and barely any pedal pressure added VERY streetable and easy to use! My mom can even drive it fine heh.

hmm..this clutch might be the ticket for me, thanks. Type in "xtd" into the www.supraforums.com search engine to see mixed opinions on this clutch kit. Btw, how many miles do you have on it?
